This blog is based on a bunch of links to interesting current articles in Swedish or English. Most often, they cover the fields of economics and economic policy, but there may be articles about small scale agriculture, forestry or IT as well. For being a person schooled by public schools for more than a decade, the author may show a relatively liberty-minded opinion and an improper lack of respect for the establishment. The author writes in the same language as the main link of each blog post.

Att skapa jobb eller värde
Steve Horwitz skriver så här om att politiker: …are much too concerned about job creation when they should be concerned about value creation. Creating jobs is easy; it’s creating value that’s hard. We could create millions of jobs quite easily by destroying every piece of machinery on U.S. farms. The question is whether we are actually better off by creating those jobs—and the answer is a definite no. We want labor-saving, job-destroying technology because it creates value by enabling us to produce things at lower cost and thereby free up labor for more urgent uses.
